The Corvette Racing team was at Road Atlanta for three days last week for tire testing. Oliver updates us on who was there and the process of picking tires for next year’s GT2 campaign. We also learn from the video that Jan Magnussen broke his tailbone in the accident with Jorg Bergmeister’s Porsche at Laguna Seca. The team is trying out a new seat to prevent that type of injury from occuring in the future.

 

Back in May we revealed the Corvette Dream Giveaway raffle to benefit the Kids Wish Network was pairing a unique 1 of 1 Hero Edition Corvette ZR1 with a classic 1967 Corvette Convertible that will be given away to one lucky winner on Christmas day. Santa and Twinkie the elf dispensed with tradition and made their grand entrance into the Orange County Marketplace in a red 1931 Ford Roadster and a yellow 1969 Chevrolet Corvette to kick off the holiday season at OC Fair & Event Center in Costa Mesa, Saturday morning.
