IMSA’s Competition Committee released the season’s first technical bulletin outlining the Balance of Performance for the three classes ahead of the official Roar Before the 24 testing session scheduled for January 3-5th. The test is mandatory for all teams competing at the 2020 Rolex 24 at Daytona later in the month.
Scheduled for Daytona are seven entries in GTLM representing four manufacturers: BMW, Chevrolet, Ferrari, and Porsche.

As far as I know, this C7 Corvette Vette Kart isn’t for sale. But that doesn’t mean the owner doesn’t carry around a price in his head for what this creation may be worth.
Vette Karts have gained in popularity over the last few years ever since Hot Rod Magazine’s Roadkill ripped the outer panels off a C4 Corvette in a cringy light-weighting scheme that actually turned out to be pretty cool.
Corvette Racing has entered its new mid-engined C8.R in the FIA World Endurance Championship’s 6-Hour Lone Star Le Mans race at Circuit of the America’s on February 22-23 as reported by Sportscar365.com.
It will be just the second outing for the mid-engine sports car which is scheduled to debut in January at the Rolex 24 at Daytona International Speedway.

Over the last two decades, the Corvette team has made multiple trips to test their new sports cars on one of the most extreme tracks in the world – Germany’s Nurburgring. The 2020 Corvette Stingray Z51 has already made several trips to the famous 12.9 mile Nordschleife and we know from reports at the track that a fast lap time was recorded.

Out of all seven decades of Corvette production, the winner of our Best Corvette of the 1990s was by far the easiest one to select. It could be argued that the best Corvette of the ’90s is the most significant ‘Vette in history. It was the car that brought pride and relevance back to the American performance category and, even today, its engine remains one of the most advanced mills to ever turn the rear tires of the sports car that we are all obsessed with.
More good news for those of you holding a pre-order on the 2020 Corvette Stingray. Our friends at Kerbeck Corvette tell us that there are no constraints this week on ordering the 2020 Corvette, other than you cannot yet order the Convertible model.
Chevrolet has two order periods happening in December for C8 Corvette orders, one last week and one this week.
