State Farm Insurance wants to curb texting while driving too! The company recently released its very own Android app that automatically responds to incoming text messages while an individual is driving. 

Users can custom text messages then simply activate the app so that when a text message appears, the app will instantaneously respond while the individual is busy paying attention to the road.

The app is free from Android Market, and for now is only available on Google-powered smartphones. The app is expected to hit iPhones, Blackberries and Windows Mobile versions in the near future.

The Chevrolet Cruze launch has endured a parts disruption in recent weeks that slowed production, along with “growing pains” that come with building a brand new car, but the process continues to move toward the Sept.

This 2009 Shelby GT 500 Ford Mustang, owned by Jon James, of Fort Leonard Wood, was one of the first place winners in this year’s annual Howdy Neighbor Days Car Show, held Saturday.

Highlights include a giveaway of a 2003 50th-anniversary Corvette Z06. Saturday’s parade will honor John Fitch, who drove a Corvette to a class win in 1960 at Le Mans.
