Woman Speeds out of Ferrari Dealership and Crashes Corvette

A very bizarre accident involving a yellow C6 Corvette occurred Saturday night in Norwood, Mass. Police say a woman driving the yellow Corvette came out of out a Ferrari dealership and lost control. The Corvette hit two other vehicles, flipped and hit a light pole before coming to rest upside down.

A witness to the accident told Boston’s NewsCenter 5 that the woman in Corvette races cars for a living and had apparently stopped at a Chevrolet dealership looking for a faster car. The dealership didn’t have what she was looking for so she went over to another dealership to test drive a Ferrari.

The witness told the reporter that “something happened at the Ferrari dealership” that caused the woman to leave. She peeled out and then crashed a short distance away.

The woman driving the Corvette was airlifted to a local hospital and another victim that was in one of the cars struck by the Corvette was taken to an area hospital. No word on the severity of their injuries and police are still investigating the crash.

Corvette Pickup Truck

Not sure if this fits under Corvette Fun or Corvette Pain.  These photos demonstrate the results of someone’s desire to merge a C3 Corvette with a late 1930’s Plymouth and a Chevy Pickup.

Written elsewhere: "people have been making bad choices when customizing Corvettes for some time."  Perhaps that is an understatement.

Presented here for your entertainment, everything about this vehicle is bizarre.  I guess the real question is: Why?  If you know why this concoction came into existence, please explain.  Thanks.

[PIC] Santa Visits the National Corvette Museum

Santa and Mrs. Claus took some time off their preparations for this year’s Christmas celebration by stopping by the National Corvette Museum’s annual Breakfast with Santa last Saturday in Bowling Green. As you can see, St Nick arrived in style, driving the 15th Anniversary NCM 2010 Corvette Grand Sport.

In addition to having their pictures taken with Santa, the children also participated in activities like arts and crafts stations, dance performances, music, and story time with Mrs. Claus.

Although we can’t confirm, sources tell us the museum’s executive director Wendell Strode took Santa aside and asked for a Motorsports Park.
