Did you know that the federal government’s patent and trademark office had an official twitter feed? Of course they do. But I just found out this afternoon thanks to a tweet from the USPTO which enlightened us on a little bit of Corvette history that occurred on this day in Year 1. Okay, when I first heard that someone had transplanted the C7 Corvette’s high intensity LED lights onto a widebody C6 Corvette, I was a bit skeptical. But after seeing photos of the C6 with the grafted C7 headlights, I am totally sold on this mod. There is no doubt that the C7’s LED headlights give the Stingray and Z06 its menacing look when you look at the front of the car, but it never occurred

August 2015 Corvette Sales

It’s the first of the month and today General Motors reported the sales report from August 2015. For the month, GM sold 2,725 Corvettes for a 1.7% gain over sales of 2,679 Corvettes during the same month in 2014. For the Calendar Year to Day (CYTD), a total of 23,826 Corvettes have been delivered between January and the end of August. This is 1.5% ahead of where we were last year with 23,483 Corvettes delivered.
