Imagine the perfect garage.
A Torch Red 2020 Corvette Stingray on one side for trips to the NCM Motorsports Park or a weekend journey along the curvy roads of the mountains. A Marlboro Maroon 1967 427/435 Corvette Sting Ray just for the fun of it. And then my daily driver, a Blade Silver 2022 Corvette Chaparall for those quick trips to pick up a few items at Home Depot.

The 2020 Rolex 24 at Daytona is finally here and with it begins a new era for Corvette Racing. Fans of Jake have been waiting a long time for this moment and now the mid-engine Corvette C8.Rs will begin writing the next chapter in Corvette history.

Attention, potential customers for the new mid-engine 2020 Corvette:
You might want to consider checking that box for the optional wheel locks.
The owner of this C8 Corvette (i.e., General Motors) apparently skimped on those said wheel locks, and the car wound up on blocks minus the tires and wheels.

As we hear about the captured test fleet C8 Corvettes rolling off the line at Bowling Green these past few weeks, take a moment to go back to a much simpler time when the first of the iconic 1963 Sting Ray prototypes, also known as pilot line and pre-production cars, were being produced in the fall of 1962.
We are sad to report that the two engineers that were arrested on January 8th for excessive speeding in two new 2020 Corvettes no longer work for General Motors.
The two engineers, Alexander Thim (27) and Mark Derkatz (30) were arrested on Lovers Lane in Bowling Green, Kentucky for exceeding the posted 45 MPH speed limit by over 26 MPH which then requires a court date.
