Last week in the Big Apple, GM had several new models parked on display outside the New York Stock Exchange. A reader named John happened upon it and grabbed these photos of a 2020 Corvette Stingray Convertible.
This hardtop Stingray Convertible comes with the Z51 Performance Package and features a black top and nacelles, black emblems, and Red interior.
Since last week we’ve been talking about a new documentary coming soon from Chevrolet on the development of the Mid-Engine Corvette. The documentary is called “Revolution” and will be offered in two-parts on the Corvette’s media page at Chevrolet.com. Chevrolet will be offering a book version on the same subject, we now have a general idea of when that documentary will premiere.

On Friday evening we caught sight of three C8 Corvette Z06 prototypes in Valencia California and we were happy to see the engineering team benchmarking the Corvette prototypes against a Porsche GT2 RS. The photo showed the three Corvettes and the Porsche pulling into what looked to be a parking lot.
Now we have another confirmed sighting of the camouflaged C8 Corvette prototypes but instead of the Porsche GT2 RS, we have two C8 Corvette Z06s following a Ferrari as they merge onto a Califonia highway.

It’s a busy week for the nation’s most experienced Corvette seller. In addition to keeping busy with delivering new Corvettes and other vehicles to happy customers, he’s has set a date for his final Spring Mountain class with C7 customers.

We tracked down this photo as posted on the C8 Corvette Owners Facebook Group and the poster says the photo was taken in Valencia, California.

After failing to meet reserve several times since 2018, these two 1969 L88 Corvette convertibles will be on the block again as a pair during the Mecum auction in Glendale, Arizona, on March 14.
Both examples come highly awarded, with the Fathom Green car having twice been invited to the Bloomington Gold Special Collection and the Can Am White car earning Bloomington Gold certification, NCRS Performance Verification, and NCRS Duntov Mark of Excellence.

Chalk up two more awards for the 2020 Corvette Stingray!
MotorWeek has just named the new mid-engine Chevy not only as its Best Performance Car of 2020, but also its Best of the Year overall.
We told you a few days ago that the new mid-engine Corvette appeared to be a big hit when it was unveiled at the Tokyo Auto Salon.
Now comes word that Chevy has already tripled its sales in Japan, with Yahoo Japan reporting that in the first 60 hours of taking reservations, the company has already received 300+ orders, up considerably from the 101 front-engine 2019 models sold there.
