I hate to run these stories that detail build quality issues on the new C8 Corvette, but Corvette owners deserve better than this.
We commend Chevrolet and workers at the Bowling Green Assembly Plant for their work on the new 2020 Corvette and the truth of the matter is that quality has improved over the last few years.
There’s nothing better to do while quarantined than surf the interwebs looking at Corvettes. Here’s an interesting one we stumbled across on the San Antonio Craigslist. This numbers matching Mille Miglia Red on black 1971 LT-1 coupe could be yours for the $20,000 asking price.
Chevrolet built 21,801 Corvettes in 1971.

As the nation’s automakers have joined the fight against COVID-19 by switching from automotive production to making face masks, ventilators and other life-saving equipment, employees for the automakers are also stepping up to do their part.
GM recently reopened a factory in Warren, Michigan to begin manufacturing of Level 1 face masks and that’s where Corvette Team Forecaster Wendy Miller found herself today after volunteering to help make the masks.
No matter how quick they accelerate, the Electric Vehicle is seen by most car enthusiasts as a heavy one-trick pony that brings all of the charisma of a light switch to a spirited drive.
Luckily, for those of us who find the idea of trading our LS7s and LT4s (and even Hemis, Voodoos, M159s, and S65s, we are all in this together!) for a battery pack connected to some electric motors akin to ending our intimate, multi-layered relationship with our spouse in order to better focus on an affair with Amazon’s Alexa, British motoring publication, Autocar is reporting that McLaren has their sights set on a future where we can still choose passion over a self-driving pod.

Our friends at Zip Corvette Parts were probably on cloud 9 this week as their new 2020 Corvette Stingray test mule arrived at their Mechanicsville, VA, showroom. Zip will be using the Test Mule for trying out new parts and accessories and we’re sure it will be showing up in the next Zip catalog.

As some Youtubers have been sharing their fastest 0-60 mph sprint times with Speed Phenom and the Chevy Dude both besting the official 2.9 second rating with launches timed at 2.7 seconds, we heard of another, faster owner out there that had launched in 2.6 seconds.
Much has been written about the instant celebrity status being granted to new C8 Corvette owners these days.
Well, here’s a Corvette that might draw even more attention than a new mid-engine Stingray at the gas pump!
