See the C7 Corvette Stingray at the Corvettes at CORSA Show on Sunday, July 28th

Our friends at Corsa Performance and the Corvette Cleveland club are hosting their 11th Annual Corvettes at CORSA car show this Sunday, July 28th. The event is free for spectators and runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Organizers are expecting about 250 Corvettes to attend including the 2014 Corvette Stingray.

In addition to hundreds of sharply detailed Corvettes, the show will feature a DJ, food vendors, a 50/50 drawing, as well as door prizes and awards. The showâ€™s host, CORSA, will be offering a 10% discount on exhaust systems and free installs throughout the day of the show. Tours of CORSAâ€™s sprawling 58,000-square-foot facility will be offered for those that want to see where the magic happens. Finally youâ€™ll have yet another chance to check out the highly anticipated 2014 Corvette Stingray.

â€œWe host this annual event because we understand that Corvette enthusiasts are an exceptional group that appreciates opportunities to exhibit their vehicles and learn about the most preeminent technologies for their Corvettesâ€ Said Craig R. Kohrs, VP and General Manager, CORSA Performance Exhausts, TMG Performance Products.

Show organizers recommend pre-registration at www.corvettecleveland.org/corvettes_at_corsa.htm. The nominal registration fee is $10 and a portion of the proceeds will benefit OhioGuidestone.

The 11th annual Corvettes at CORSA show runs 10am â€“ 3pm this Sunday, July 28th. Vehicle Registration: runs from 10am â€“ 11:30am. Registration is $10 and the show is free to the public. Tours of the CORSA facility will be available from 11am â€“ 1:30pm and the awards will be given out at 2pm.

[VIDEO] Corvette Battery Maintenance with GM Technician Paul Koerner

If you’ve attended any of the major Corvette shows like Mid America Motorworks’ Corvette FunFest, Corvettes at Carlisle or the Corvette Museum’s annual Bash, you’ve probably seen GM World Class Certified Technician Paul Koerner helping Corvette owners by diagnosing issues they are having with their later model Corvettes.

Paul has recently joined forces with Mid America Motorworks to produce a series of videos to give Corvette owners tips and tricks for keeping their Corvettes running trouble-free. We recently watched the first video on Paul’s Facebook page, The Corvette Mechanic and wanted to share it with our readers.

The subject of Paul’s first video with Mid America has to do with proper battery maintenance as well as troubleshooting issues related to the battery including testing, using a battery charger and a charge maintainer. As the Corvette has a reputation for issues caused by low or improperly maintained batteries, this should be a 101 level class for all Corvette owners.

What’s nice about this collaboration for Corvette owners is that not only does Paul take us through some of the issues that owners might be faced with, Mid America offers a listing of the specific parts that Paul references so owners will know the exact part name and number that may be needed to complete a repair.
