It took some agility and persistence, but Tom Cotter discovered an interesting C4 Corvette on a recent visit with a Montana car collector named Bob.
Stacked behind a pile of boxes atop one of the 26 Toronados that Bob owns, Tom found a 1986 Corvette convertible, the first year the ragtop returned to the Chevy lineup after being absent since 1975.

Chevrolet pulled off another reveal today, this time the Corvette C8.R was shown to the racing media and other invited guests during Petit Le Mans at Road Atlanta which serves as the final IMSA race of the year.
The new Corvette race car will officially race for the first time at the 2020 Rolex 24 at Daytona International Speedway in January.

That’s the thinking behind the addition of a 460-horsepower C7 Corvette Grand Sport to the lineup of first-response vehicles operated by Dubai Ambulance.
The speedy Corvettes “are meant to reach the emergency scene first before the ambulance, in order to aid the accident and to save what can be saved until the ambulance arrives,” according to Zulekha Hospital, a major medical center in the Dubai area.

Hennessey’s 1200-hp Corvette ZR1 is taken for a few laps around the Pennzoil Proving Grounds and wow is this car a beast!
The C7 ZR1 stands as the pinnacle of Corvette performance with its exclusive LT5 engine that produces a stock 755-horsepower and 715 lb-ft of torque. We’ve all spent more than a few minutes on the Corvette Visualizer as we’ve spec’d out various versions of the 2020 Corvette Stingray. It’s great fun seeing how your changes were updated in real-time and then spinning the car around at all angles to view. But what’s been lacking is that none of your configurations contained a summary of the actual price based on all the options you selected.

The 2020 Corvette Stingray Convertible continues to cause disruption wherever it’s shown and that’s a good thing for Chevrolet.
Over the weekend, the Sebring Orange 2020 Corvette Stingray Convertible hit two of the largest car events on the West Coast. On Saturday, the Stingray attended Cars and Coffee in San Clemente and on Sunday, it visited Supercar Sunday in Woodland Hills.
The new 2020 Corvette Stingray Convertible was unveiled among America’s other rockets at the Kennedy Space Center last week and we captured the moment as it happened.
We are still learning all the details possible about the convertible model. One topic we wanted to cover are the various options for the hardtop roof and nacelles, which are offered in three different ways.
One week after Barrett-Jackson visited Las Vegas for their final sale of the year, Mecum comes roaring into Sin City for their first Auction of the month. The first of the 1,000 cars will find a new home on Thursday, the 10th with the sale wrapping-up Saturday on NBC Sports Network. In total, 63 examples of America’s Sports Car will cross the auction block during the three-day sale; Including representatives from each generation, priced to fit any budget.

An autumn tradition takes place this weekend as the Lingenfelter Collection open its doors once again for their annual fall open house.
