This Custom 1954 Corvette is Ready for the Spotlight at Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale
It may go against the purist tradition, but we’ve always felt that the ’53-’55 Corvettes look so much sportier without the factory hubcaps.
Case in point: this 1954 custom convertible that will go on the block at the Barrett-Jackson Auction in Scottsdale later this week.
Being offered at no reserve, the sellers created the car as a tribute to the GM Concept Corvette displayed as one of the “Dream Cars” in the 1954 GM Motorama.

[ACCIDENT] DUI Corvette Driver Knocks Out Power to 10,000 Customers in Sacramento

Students at a Sacramento, California middle school got an unexpected break from class today, thanks to an alleged drunk driver in a Torch Red C7 Corvette coupe.
The driver crashed his Stingray into a utility pole about 9:20 p.m. Sunday, knocking out power for hours to thousands of customers in Sacramento County.

Well, the accolades for the mid-engine 2020 Corvette Stingray continue to roll in. Today the C8 was honored as the 2020 North American Car of the Year (NACTOY). The Corvette beat out the reborn Toyota Supra and the Hyundai Sonata.
Having already been named the Motor Trend Car of the year and Edmund’s Sports Car of the Year, all eyes were on the Stingray to claim this award as well.

Here’s a walkaround of an Arctic White Corvette Stingray Z51 Coupe with the Midnight Gray full-length stripes that was parked in the domestic parking lot of the Corvette Assembly Plant in Bowling Green.
