AUSTIN, Texas (February 22, 2020) – Corvette Racing and the No. 63 Mobil 1/SiriusXM Chevrolet Corvette C8.R will roll off seventh in the GTE Pro category for Sunday’s Six Hours of COTA for the World Endurance Championship.

Here’s the second of three extended B-roll videos from GM that shows two different 2020 Corvette Stingray Z51 Coupes on the track at Spring Mountain Motor Resort and Country Club, home of the Ron Fellows Performance Driving School.
The videos were released to media during the 2020 Corvette First Drive Event that we participated in earlier in the week and we’ve previously shared this extended drive through the Nevada desert, as well as a preview of the three videos showing the car on the road, on the track, and on the Las Vegas Strip.
Another cool announcement from the Corvette Team’s 2020 Corvette First Drive Event this week is that the Corvette Academy is returning for the 2020 Corvette Stingray. The Corvette Academy is Chevrolet’s learning center for owners and Chevrolet will be offering 24 new videos that show will how them how to get the most out of their 2020 Corvette Stingrays.
Reminds me of the day I took my daughter to middle school in the Callaway SC757 AeroWagen…and she was like, “Drop me off in front of the school, please!”

As part of the 2020 Corvette First Drive Event that we attended earlier this week, Chevrolet offered up a ton of new media to support the roll-out of the new mid-engine sports car.
Yesterday we featured three quick 30-second videos that showed the 2020 Corvette on the roads, at Spring Mountain, and on the Las Vegas strip.

Corvette Racing is headed to the great state of Texas with Jan Magnussen and Mike Rockenfeller competing in the FIA World Endurance Championship’s Lone Star Le Mans on Sunday. The six-hour race will feature the new mid-engine C8.R wearing its No. 63 on the Yellow/Silver livery.
After years of tracking C8 Corvette prototypes, sharing spy photos, sitting in the show cars at various events, and living vicariously through the efforts of the Corvette team as they track-tested the car on the Nurburgring, my opportunity to drive the all-new the new mid-engine Corvette finally arrived this week.
I was thinking that it would be tough to be objective about testing this car, and I was somewhat concerned if the car would live up to the hype.
