Chevrolet hosted a group of writers from Mexico for the 2020 Corvette Stingray’s First Drive event and from that, we’ve learned a bit more about the pricing and availability for the Mexican market.
Chevrolet’s Juan Carlos Garcia VP of Mexico gave the presentation to the group and announced that sales to Mexico would begin sometime during 2nd Quarter 2020.

The first official photo of the Right Hand Drive 2020 Corvette Stingray was just released by Chevrolet. The stunning photo reveals a 3LT Two-Tone Natural interior including GT2 seats with Suede Inserts and a Suede Steering Wheel.
Chevrolet announced a Right Hand Drive production Corvette at the Next Generation Corvette Reveal on 07.18.19.
The 2020 Corvette Stingray is the most technologically-advanced Corvette in the 67 years of the model. And because we are living in the “aughts” (aka the 2020s) where everything is captured on camera, much of the new technology is centered around watching and recording the surroundings around the vehicle.
One of the interesting stats we learned from Corvette’s Product and Marketing Manager Harlan Charles is that depending on your options, the 2020 Corvette Stingray could have up to five cameras available for the driver.

Here is the third and final extended B-roll video from Chevrolet that shows the 2020 Corvette Stingray Z51 Coupe driving down the Las Vegas Strip at night. As this is B-roll and for use in other productions, there is no sound. (However, I am listening to Highway to Hell by ACDC as I publish this post and the song totally goes with the video!)
When we had our chance to drive the 2020 Corvette Stingray, our route began on the Las Vegas Strip as we made our way out of the Cosmopolitan hotel and down the road to I-15.

Hope you all had a great weekend! After coming off the major high of driving the 2020 Corvette Stingray in Las Vegas as part of Chevrolet’s First Drive event, I attended the NCRS Winter Regional held in conjunction with Carlisle Events’ Winter Autofest as the Sun ‘n Fun complex in Lakeland, Florida.
As we continue to digest all the new information that came out of last week’s First Drive Event with the 2020 Corvette Stingrays in Las Vegas, there is a new “Mode” to discuss that most Corvette enthusiasts have never heard of.
The 2020 Corvette Stingray has several “modes” that help drivers get the most out of their cars.

As we were wrapping up our day at Spring Mountain Motor Resort and Country Club for the 2020 Corvette Stingray First Drive Event, track personnel began moving around C8 Corvettes for a Dealer function that would be happening later. Pretty soon, they had two rows of 2020 Corvettes with all 12 colors represented!
