Having owned an ’86, an ’88, and an ’89, I realize firsthand these fourth generation ‘Vettes aren’t the most powerful ever built or the most reliable (remember the newfangled key on the ’86 that was supposed to prevent thefts but wound up leaving some owners stranded because the key wouldn’t work?).

[VIDEO] IMSA Goes iRacing Today at WeatherTech Laguna Seca Beginning at 6pm ET

IMSA is fully onboard with iRacing simulated racing during the Coronavirus lockdown and the series has announced the forming of their iRacing Pro Series 2020 Schedule that will feature a total of six rounds through June 11th.

Round 1 was held at Sebring on March 21st and the second stop on the schedule comes today at WeatherTech Raceway at Laguna Seca with the racing action beginning at 6pm.

GM Has Raised More Than $24 Million for Charity with its Corvette and Other Auctions at Barrett-Jackson

A lot of the excitement at Barrett-Jackson auctions over the past 15-plus years has rolled across the block thanks to a strong partnership with General Motors.

The two powerhouses in their respective industries have teamed up to sell GM vehicles to raise more than $24 million for charity, including the most recent sale of the first mid-engine 2020 Corvette that sold in January for a whopping $3 million to enthusiast/collector/dealer/racing magnate Rick Hendrick.
