Make Yourself a Stingray-o-Lantern with Chevrolet’s Pumpkin Stencils!

Make Yourself a Stingray-o-Lantern with Chevrolet's Pumpkin Stencils!

Today is Halloween which means that you’re likely either eating candy or carving a pumpkin while reading this blog post. If you haven’t sliced and diced your pumpkin yet here are some cool 2014 Corvette Stingray stencils brought to you by the folks at Chevrolet.

Head on over to the Chevy Facebook page to download your choice of 21 different stencils. Likenesses of the Volt, Silverado, Spark, and Camaro are there for your use. Also available are logos for the Cruze, Volt, Sonic, and Impala. You can even help Chevy spread their new tagline, Find New Roads. Our favorite non-Vette guides are the Chevy soccer ball and the “Truck or Treat” stencils.

Of course we’re partial to the 4 Corvette Stingray stencils. You can choose from the new C7 Corvette flags, the flags with Corvette script below, the Stingray logo itself, and a very cool ¾ view of the new 2014 Corvette. The latter is our pattern of choice.

2014 Corvette Stingray P58 Concept to be Shown at SEMA

2014 Corvette Stingray P58 Concept to be Shown at SEMA

The new Corvette Stingray is one of those cars that is just begging for customization that takes an already great car to even higher levels.

One such treatment comes to us courtesy of Michigan-based TZD, which has named it the P58 Concept.

You can see the P58 Concept at the 2013 SEMA show set for Nov. 5-8 at the Las Vegas Convention Center, and here’s betting that this is one cool Stingray that will go against the old saying that what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas.

The bright blue Stingray has a wild aerodynamic body package, a huge carbon fiber rear wing, and 20- and 21-inch Vossen Monoblock wheels in the middle of Proxes T1R high-performance rubber. It also features the adrenaline red 3LT interior that delivers a great contrast to the exterior.

The P58′s not all show, though. There’s plenty of go with a Pfadt P58 tune, including a cold-air intake, tri-Y headers, and a Pfadt engine calibration. It all adds up to 580 horsepower, up by 120 over the factory version.

The SEMA Show is the premier automotive specialty products trade event in the world. It draws the industry’s brightest minds and hottest products to one place, the Las Vegas Convention Center. In addition, the SEMA Show provides attendees with educational seminars, product demonstrations, special events, networking opportunities and more.

Last year’s show drew more than 60,000 domestic and international buyers. The displays are segmented into 12 sections, and a New Products Showcase featured nearly 2,000 newly introduced parts, tools and components. In addition, the SEMA Show provides attendees with educational seminars, product demonstrations, special events, networking opportunities and more.

CorvetteBlogger will be on the ground next week at SEMA bringing you the best Corvette displays and the products Corvette owners are interested in so stay tuned and make sure you’re following us on Twitter and Facebook.

[PIC] Wrecked C7 Corvette Chassis Will Get a Camaro Makeover

[PIC] Wrecked C7 Corvette Chassis to Get a Camaro Makeover

Earlier this month, a wrecked Blade Silver C7 Corvette Stingray made headlines after a picture of the decapitated Coupe went viral. We are still unaware of what actually caused the accident, but we have learned since that the Stingray’s LT1 drive train has been sold and is now at a shop in Florida.

The chassis showed up yesterday on the doorstep of Current Performance Wiring in Port Richey, Florida. A posting on facebook announced the arrival by showing a picture with the post “Early Christmas present at my door today…

So what’s the plan for the 460 hp LT1 with an auto transmission? They said they will begin development of Gen V LT1 wiring and swap programming but it will eventually end up under a 1960′s Camaro.

Keeping it in the bowtie family…I’m cool with that.
