Our friend Lance Miller of Corvettes of Carlisle put together a tribute video today showing off the Corvette C5R racer that was campaigned 15 years ago by Dale Earnhardt Sr., along with his son Dale Jr., Kelly Collins and Andy Pilgrim at the 2001 Rolex 24 Hours of Daytona. Corvettes on eBay: Barn Find 1963 Corvette with John Greenwood Built 427 V8
Here’s a 1963 Corvette convertible that bears the handprint of the legendary John Greenwood. Greenwood converted the original fuel-injected 327 to a big-block 427 in 1968, and the car is now up for auction at no reserve on eBay. The current bid is $23,700 with just over three days to go.
