Following the sale of the 2020 Corvette VIN 001 at Barrett-Jackson’s Scottsdale auction with $3 million going to charity, Chevrolet’s PR department issued a press release about the event and there is one line that should have all C8 Corvette buyers very excited!
On the very last line of the press release is this sentence:
Corvette coupe production will begin at GM’s Bowling Green Assembly Plant in Kentucky in early February, with customer deliveries slated to begin before the end of February.

While GM has made no secret that it hopes to sell a lot more mid-engine Stingrays overseas than ever before, that privilege won’t come cheap off American soil.
A source has told whichcar.com that the upcoming 2020 mid-engine Corvette – being offered for the first time in Australia, or anywhere for that matter, with right-hand drive – may not cost as much as once feared there.

A Corvette owner headed home after a day’s work was involved in a crash which totaled his red C6 Corvette and the whole thing was captured on video.
Mark Brumfield was on his way home from work on January 14th in Mesa, AZ., and the dashcam video opens as he pulls out onto a multi-lane road behind a white SUV.
Without a doubt, one of the most collectible Corvettes in Chevrolet’s 67-year run of the model is the 1963 Corvette Sting Ray Coupe. The famous split-window design was a one-year-only option and only 10,954 split-window coupes were produced. Today, restored examples of the SWCs can sell for big dollars.

We’ve featured some of the previous videos from YouTuber Speed Phenom over the last few months and his videos are always entertaining with some great info to boot. He has a 2020 Corvette Stingray on order and has a genuine excitement for the car despite also just having purchased a new Ford Shelby GT500.

Here’s a huge catch by a Corvette enthusiast named Jim Lill who posted a photo and a video to Facebook of a camouflaged C8 Corvette widebody with an engine note that sure as shootin’ sounds like the C8.R’s flat-plane crank V8. The heavily-cladded Corvette prototype was spied out in California on Monday afternoon in the mountains east of San Diego.
