Last weekend we received our first glimpse of the new model changes coming to the C8 Corvette in 2021 after a dealer leaked the 2021 specs from the GM Workbench order system. The big news from the leak is that the 2021 model year Stingrays will see two new exterior colors, two interior color combos, multiple new racing stripes, and a new Stinger hood design.
One of the good things to come out of the “work from home” orders in the age of COVID-19 is that you can go look at your Corvette whenever you need to want without the boss getting mad that you’re not “tied” to your desk.

If there’s one thing this ad on craigslist proves it’s that you’re never too old for a Corvette – especially an early C3 as nice as this 1969 coupe.
While the seller admits it’s time to pass this Cortez Silver over red leather beauty on to someone else, the encouraging thing to us is that he only has decided to sell it now that he’s in his 80s!

We’ve noticed with the arrival of the 2020 Corvette that the custom exhaust business is alive and well. We’ve seen a couple YouTubers working on solutions including this solid-sounding system from MagnaFlow. Joining the fray in creating a custom exhaust for the 2020 Corvette is Texas tuning shop Late Model Racecraft who shared this new video as they put their custom Catback exhaust to the test on the dyno.

General Motors released its 1st Quarter 2020 sales report yesterday and it shows that a total of 3,820 Corvettes were sold during the time period. The number is a 3.1% decline from the 3,943 corvettes sold during the same time period in 2019. As a bright spot, the quarterly figure is 329 units more than were sold during the fourth quarter of 2019.

As the former owner of a seven-speed manual C7, I know firsthand the intangible thrill of shifting gears for yourself.
Morgan Crosbie was in the same boat with his old C7, but in a new video this Chevrolet salesman and early C8 owner makes a strong case for GM’s decision to dump the manual and install only a dual-clutch transmission in the new mid-engine Corvette instead.
Some enthusiasts have never purchased a C5 Z06 because it left the Bowling Green assembly plant only as a fixed-roof coupe.
No convertibles or removable roof panels for the fifth-generation Z06 were offered by General Motors.
But now an actual 2002 Z06 (confirmed by the VIN, according to the sellers) has been converted into a convertible and is up for sale on eBay at the reasonable “Buy It Now” price of $21,995.
