We’ve previously seen similar match-up battles between the outgoing C7 Corvette Stingray and the new mid-engine C8 Corvette Stingray and I always find them interesting. In many ways, these comparisons of the new Corvette against the previous model are more illustrative of the brand’s improvement than watching a match-up against a Hellcat or a Lamborghini Huracan.

The National Corvette Museum will be reopening to the public next Monday, June 8, and visitors post-COVID 19 will find a wealth of exciting new exhibits to see and hear.
Two galleries and one new exhibit were unveiled at ribbon-cutting ceremonies during last week’s virtual Michelin NCM Bash, including the E.
A developing story that we have been following over on the Corvette Forum reveals some interesting news for anyone unfortunate enough to crash their eighth-generation Corvette. An inquisitive forum member named Phil1098 was clicking through gm-techlink.com when he uncovered something he had never seen before; a clause prohibiting dealerships from selling structural components to shops (or individuals) outside of the GM Collision Repair Network (CRN) or Cadillac Aluminum Repair Network (CARN) which can be seen in its entirety below.

Once of the smartest things I ever did with my 1966 Corvette was to move my insurance policy from State Farm to the NCM Insurance Agency as it’s better insurance at a better price. Best of all, it’s an agreed value policy. Ten years ago Adam Boca was tasked with starting the Corvette Museum’s in-house collector car insurance agency and under his care, it has grown to have multiple agents as well as their own cool offices inside the NCM.

It was just about a month ago that CorvetteBlogger contributor Jeremy Welborn offered up this video on the proper jack and lift points for the 2020 Corvette after witnessing a video showing the C8 Corvette that was lifted in the wrong place. Because the weight distribution is now 40/60 with the engine behind the driver, you have to have the jack or lift mounted to the chassis locations properly or the unthinkable could happen as the lift is raised.
