Let’s hope the driver of this Long Beach Red Metallic C7 Corvette convertible is OK after a crash Thursday literally ripped the rear end off the car!
An accident is never funny, but we couldn’t help but chuckle at the concerned bystander who hoped there was no one in the “back seat” of the Corvette!

The driver of this Torch Red C7 Corvette coupe took that suggestion to heart this week, literally.
Police say the man crashed his Stingray in a yard at 9th and Penning in Wood River, Illinois on Wednesday while cruising with his roof panel out and, oh yeah, being chased by East Alton Police.

Toby Jasmin’s 50th birthday no doubt will be one he’ll long remember.
The day before he hit that major milestone in life, a lightning strike during an early Tuesday morning storm is believed to have started a fire that ruined the Vermont man’s collection of vintage cars, including two Corvettes.

Sometimes those “low-mileage beauties” aren’t so beautiful once you take a closer look at them.
Case in point: this Torch Red 2020 Corvette coupe that shows just 3,419 miles on the odometer after being purchased in March.
A real creampuff, huh?

It’s the kind of action a YouTube vlogger lives for, but in this case, John at JMC Rides wasn’t particularly worried about getting subscribers to his channel right about then.
But thanks to his level-headed fellow vlogger on the scene – a blue Mustang owner named Kevin Yoo – John was still able to document a small fire this week under his 2020 Corvette that appropriately enough is coated with Torch Red paint.

Nearly 2 million vehicles collided with deer during one recent 12-month period, according to State Farm.
The owner of this black C8 Corvette just joined that dubious herd.
Check out the gruesome photos from a post on Facebook by the owner, Sam Markobrad, who had just bought the 2020 Corvette only a month ago from the original owner, his friend Scott Wolfe, who had himself enjoyed it for less than two months.
