Chevrolet Introduces the 2017 Corvette Grand Sport

This morning at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show, Chevrolet introduced a new Corvette model that brings the historic Grand Sport name to the C7 line-up. The new 2017 Corvette Grand Sport appears to take the best of both previous C7 models, the Stingray and the Z06, and that potent combination results in a lightweight architecture with a track-honed aerodynamics package, along with Michelin Sport Cup 2 tires and a naturally aspirated LT1 V8 with 460

Gavin posted a rundown of the March 1st Chevrolet Press Conference on his Instagram account and it specifically

Twenty years ago, Chevrolet closed out the C4 Corvette generation with a special run of 1,000 Corvette Grand Sports – 810 Coupes and 190 Convertibles. These Admiral Blue Corvettes are very distinctive with the white full length body stripe, Black Wheels and Red Hash Marks on the fender and they are a fairly rare sighting today on the streets unless you go to one of the bigger national shows. We imagine that spotting a 1996

Corvettes on eBay: 1964 Grand Sport Replica

Only five 1963 Corvette Grand Sports were ever built. While this replica currently up for sale on eBay isn’t the real thing, it might be a better choice for someone who wants a “daily driver” GS. This car has a long pedigree behind it, starting with being the last D&D car built. It’s also been autographed by A.J. Foyt and the 2009 Compuware race team. You may have seen it as a Grand Sport Display

Then with the C6, Chevy brought it back from 2010 to 2013, turning the Grand Sport into sort of a
