Why, hello beautiful!
We heard that a 2020 Corvette Stingray was spied on the Tail of the Dragon over the weekend via a post over on the Corvette Forum and after doing some hunting, we came up with these photos of an Elkhart Lake Bue Stingray Convertible.
These first photos come from forum member “majkowski” who ran into the 2020 Convertible Stingray and its engineer driver at Deal’s Gap in the parking lot.
We’re not used to seeing barn finds as nice as this 1954 Corvette.
Usually, they’re coated with multiple layers of dust and grime, with cracks in the fiberglass and tears in the seat covers after having been neglected for decades.
But that’s not the case with this ’54 that has been in the same family for close to half a century, undergoing a frame-off restoration in the ’80s, winning some awards, and then spending 20 years in storage.
Each week, Criswell Chevrolet’s Mike Furman delivers new Corvettes to his customers who come from all across the country to work with the nation’s top individual Corvette seller.
The C8 Corvettes began shipping from the plant last week and Mike breaks down his first month of orders. Mike’s customers can choose to take standard delivery at his dealership, or they can do the R8C Museum Delivery, a Courtesy Delivery at another Chevrolet dealership, or having the car shipped directly to your door via enclosed trailer.

Could it be that a customer-owned 2020 Corvette Stingray has already been put into a wall? The trucks just rolled from the assembly plant like three days ago! And yet there it is…
The photo was shared first (I believe) by modern.muscle365 on Instagram with the following caption: “Not normal 🚗 spotting but here go wrecked c8”.

Filming of The Batman is underway and yesterday director Matt Reeves shared the first pictures of a young Caped Crusader’s ride this week on twitter. It seems that the always-trendy Bruce Wayne has followed the lead of another American icon by moving the Batmobile’s V8 amidships.

The C8 Corvette Stingray was originally designed in mind to feature a front splitter and side rockers to generate downforce and provide additional handling and performance capabilities. Unfortunately, GM was forced to cancel most of the orders for the 2020 model year for the carbon fiber 5VM Ground Effects Kits earlier this year.

Morgan Crosbie from Finch Chevrolet in London, Ontario took delivery of the first 2020 Corvettes to touch down in Canada and he captured the event with multiple videos posted to YouTube!
It turns out that one of the shipments that left the Corvette Assembly Plant in the dark of night on Wednesday, March 4th had Corvettes going to Canada.
