Our friends at the National Corvette Museum sure know how to draw a crowd! This afternoon they started a Facebook Live session and shared this video of the very first 2020 Corvettes delivered to the Museum with most of these going to customers in the next couple of weeks.
We learned from communication’s director Katie Ellison that one of the C8 Corvettes received was purchased by the NCM for use at the NCM Motorsports Park.

Rick Hendrick must be feeling pretty good today now that his new 2020 Corvettes have arrived at his home dealership. The Chevrolet dealer and NASCAR team owner paid $3 Million for the VIN 001 Corvette Stingray at the Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale auction and this morning it arrived at Rick Hendrick City Chevrolet in Charlotte, NC.
When the C4 Corvette ZR-1 was brand new, it was affectionately referred to as “King of the Hill” by many people.
A lot has gone down in Corvette history over the past 30 years, but the ZR-1 continues to hold a special place in the hearts of many enthusiasts.
Currently up for sale on bringatrailer.com is this 1991 ZR-1 that has had just two owners and covered just 16,000 miles since new.

Another milestone for the 2020 Corvette Stingray has just been reached! Starting last night, the first shipments of customer-ordered mid-engine C8 Corvettes have left the Corvette Assembly Plant in Bowling Green, Kentucky and are headed to dealers.
So now that the transporters are on the move, what happens next?

The moment we’ve all been waiting for just took place at 8:35 p.m. CST today, March 4, 2020! I was able to capture these screenshots and video from the National Corvette Museum’s exterior webcams just moments ago. The screenshot is not very good being a night shot, but I have included it to document the exact time of the initial departure.

We first caught these photos on our website of all places over the weekend via Corvette seller Mike Furman and his Sunday delivery post, and have since tracked them back to a Facebook post from an Ohio-based towing company.
