Registration for Bloomington Gold Indy is Now Open

Good news Corvette fans. Car show season will be here before we know it. In a sure sign of warmer weather, Bloomington Gold has recently opened up registration for their 2020 Indianapolis event. This year’s show will take place June 25th – 27th once again at the iconic Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

Since it’s inception 4 decades ago, Bloomington Gold has become renowned for their judging process.

[GALLERY] The Corvette Legends Invitational at The Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals

Each year the Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals (MCACN) salutes a special group of Corvettes in their Corvette Legends Invitational display. Past themes have included racecars and L88’s among other significant Corvettes. For 2019 they welcomed new class sponsors Corvette Mike and Corvette Mike Midwest.

This year’s theme was the Class of 1969, paying tribute to the best of the best Corvettes from that year.

It’s the amazing car show with the long name. “Ma-kack-en”, as the cool kids call it, takes place each year in Chicago on the weekend prior to Thanksgiving. More formally it’s the Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals (MCACN) and it’s without a doubt one of the top car shows in the country.

Always one of our favorite shows of the year, the 2019 edition had an almost crazy energy about it with the inclusion of Chevrolet’s official C8 mobile pop-up showroom and the Corvette Team’s engineering tent which featured multiple 2020 Corvette Stingrays on display.

Thanks to the generosity of a Corvette enthusiast, the National Corvette Museum will be a proud participant next weekend in the final car show ever to be held on the aircraft carrier USS Lexington.

Bill Thomas and his wife, Sharon, who made a trip to the Museum immediately after purchasing their 2016 Z51, paid the registration fee for the NCM to participate in America: The Car Show that will be held aboard the USS Lexington on Saturday, Oct.
