One of my longtime heroes in the Corvette hobby is Reeves Callaway of Callaway Cars. Back in the late 1980s, Reeves first popped up my radar after his 1988 Callaway Corvette Sledgehammer ran 254 miles per hour at the Transportation Research Center in Ohio. Around the same time, his C4 Callaway Corvette B2K Twin Turbos were being sold through select Chevrolet dealers.

Corvettes on eBay: Project-Quality 1966 Corvette That Runs and Drives

Chevrolet made more 1966 Corvettes than any year during the second generation’s run from 1963 to 1967.

For the first time, production exceeded 25,000, with a total of 27,720 Corvettes leaving the St. Louis factory, including 17,762 convertibles and 9,958 coupes.

One of those convertibles has managed to survive the past 54 years, and it’s currently up for sale on eBay.

Corvette Racing Legend and Chevrolet Ambassador Ron Fellows was joined by his two sons Sam and Patrick at Canadian Tire Motorsports Park for some hot laps with an Accelerate Yellow 2020 Corvette Stingray. While the boys filmed the action, dad was doing what he does best…driving a Corvette fast!

Ron describes the new mid-engine Corvette as “an absolute work of art” and says it matches up to the competition that costs two and three times the price.
