We shared a video preview of what ETS’ first C8 turbo system would sound like back in late May, and now the tuner has released another video that shows their new Stingray during a series of three dyno runs that eventually peaked with a whopping 736 horsepower at 7.5 psi and 669 ft-lbs of torque!
We learned today that Corvette Assembly Plant workers are transitioning to a 10-hour shift this week instead of the regular 8-hour shift as the plant continues to produce more and more 2020 Corvettes ahead of next week’s July 4th break.
The Corvette Assembly Plant will be closed the week of June 29-July 3rd as part of its annual summer break.

With five days left in the auction, the current bid is just $15,250 – quite a ways from the roughly $60,000 price tag the car carried when new.
In its day, the Callaway was “quite simply one of the most powerful automobiles ever certified for sale by the EPA,” according to a Car and Driver story from May 1989.

Another victim of the Covid-19 pandemic has found a new home on the calendar. The Corvette Indianapolis 500 Pace Car Homecoming will now be held August 14th – 16th. The event will now take place alongside the rescheduled Indianapolis 500 qualifying weekend. Friday, August 14th is “Fast Friday” and the 15th and 16th mark qualifying days for the greatest spectacle in racing.

The 2020 Corvettes have only been out for just a couple of months, but already we have witnessed the carnage of wrecks and other bad luck that has befallen on America’s Favorite Sportscar. From DUI drivers, Ohio cornfields, faulty lifting, and even an encounter with a large deer, the hits just appear to keep on coming faster than the plant can make replacements!

For the techno-nerds out there, a website called Composites World (did you even know there was such a publication?) is currently taking a two-part look at the role composites play in making the 2020 Corvette one of the top supercars in the world, regardless of price.
The mid-engine C8 Corvette’s clean-sheet redesign resulted in just a couple of parts carried over from the C7 generation, but there is enough “baseball and apple pie” in the sports car to keep it in the Top 10 of the 2020 American Made Index as compiled by Cars.com.
Chevrolet landed two vehicles on the 2020 List with the Corvette coming in at a very appropriate 8th place and it was joined by the Colorado that landed in 10th place.

Here’s something that looks like a lot of fun, but you’ll want to have a tape measure before trying this stunt at home. An Instagram user with the handle of “c4drifter” shared this fun video of his slammed black C4 Corvette while doing his own impression of Fast N Furious at a rain-soaked lumber yard.
