The Fabspeed Valvetronic Cat-back Exhaust System is the ultimate upgrade for the C8 Z06, delivering both high performance and versatility. The design process started with 3D scanning the entire OEM exhaust system using the CREAFORM 700 Handscan, enabling the creation of a precise Solidworks 3D model. This model was used to design the exhaust and fixtures, ensuring a perfect OEM fit.
After extensive sound and dyno testing, Fabspeed incorporated their signature cast X-Pipe to enhance exhaust scavenging and eliminate resonance. The valves are mounted on CNC-machined plates that resist heat, maintaining electronic functionality under extreme conditions.
The piping is crafted from T304 stainless steel with mandrel bends, and ultra-high-temperature heat wrapping is used to manage engine bay temperatures.
SOUND:
This exhaust system is incredibly versatile, transforming from a subdued cruiser to a race-ready machine at the press of a button. In loud mode (valves open), the exhaust produces a commanding rumble at idle and a high-pitched wail that rivals the Ferrari 458.
In quiet mode (valves closed), it remains drone-free, allowing for comfortable conversations in the cabin, similar to the OEM exhaust.
