Whether you frequently remove your Corvette wheels or not, you'll want to make sure you are doing it correctly and safely. Chipping your calipers, carbon ceramic brake rotors, and even straining your back are issues C8 Corvette owners face when trying to delicately remove the wheels & tires.

Wheel hangers are used to extend the wheel stud with a stainless steel female-threaded guide. These are 200 mm long  (7.8") and thread onto the wheel stud giving you the confidence and guidance needed to safely remove your wheels. Once installed, slip the wheel on and rest it on the Stud Extenders instead of your knees.

Whether you are doing maintenance work or simply detailing, removing the wheels can be a much simpler task with the correct tool.  This is the best insurance you can buy for your wheels (other than actual insurance). 

Perhaps you don't remove your wheels yourself and have your Corvette technician or mechanic do it, so keep them in your glove box, and let your mechanic know.  You will not need to worry about a mechanic dropping your wheel on a powder coated caliper or better yet a Carbon Ceramic Rotor, which sits a hair away from your wheel.
