EN-51007-100 engine support adapters are used with components from EN-51007 or J-28467-B engine support fixtures to support the engine in the vehicle when transmission or rear cradle service is required. EN-51007-100 adapters install in place of the rear cross bars on both the left and right sides of the engine compartment.
While the rear of each adapter seats into the rear cross bar bracket, the front of each EN-51007-100 adapter fits onto the front support and are held in position on the front support using the included hardware. Once both EN-51007-100 adapters are correctly positioned, the required engine support fixture components and lifting adapters can be attached to the engine. Failure to use EN-51007-100 may result in damage to the vehicle.
